Both options start with the same measured need and optional allowance. Bags round up to the next whole bag. Bulk rounds up from your supplier’s minimum in the increments you enter.
Get these details from your supplier
- Bag volume and unit price, or bulk price per cubic yard.
- The smallest bulk order and how larger orders are measured.
- Delivery and any other fixed fees for each option.
- Material type and product suitability. Equal volumes do not guarantee equivalent products.
Blank delivery costs are unknown, not free. Enter zero only when no fee applies. An optional other fee starts at zero; replace it if your quote includes one. Sales tax, your time, and vehicle costs are excluded.
Bulk does not always cost less
A lower unit price can be offset by a large minimum order or delivery fee. The comparison only declares a lower estimated total when all cost fields are complete. Confirm the full quote before ordering.
